Yulli Tamayo Myerson

Yulli is the founding President of The British Society of Myofunctional Therapy and the  Founding Director of Myofunctional Therapy UK and My Dental Hygienist Clinic.

With over 22 years dental experience, she qualified in Dental Hygiene and Therapy  (RDHT) from King’s College London Dental Institute.

Prior to her journey in dentistry Yulli trained and practiced as a Clinical Massage  Therapist, this still remains an active skill set.

Yulli applies a blend of her skills to treat her patients. She is constantly developing new  techniques and protocols to help improve the outcomes of her treatments.

Yulli is working with the British Society of Myofunctional Therapy, to further Orofacial  Myofunctional Sciences in the UK. The aim of the society is to raise public and  professional awareness of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (MOD’s), highlighting the  early signs of Sleep Disorder Breathing (SDB) and its correlation with poor orofacial  development and mouth breathing.

Yulli sits on the board member of the British Association of Sleep Surgeons (BASS) as an allied specialist and on the Volunteer Board at the American Association for  Physiological Medicine and Dentistry (AAPMD). She is the president of the UK AAPMD  COLAB and an UK ambassador for The Breathe Institute.

Yulli is member of the International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals (IATTP), The  British Sleep Society (BSS), The Academy of Applied Myofunctional Sciences (AAMS),  The British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT), The Society for the  Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), The British Association of Sleep  Surgeons (BASS), The British Dental Acupuncture Society, The British Medical  Acupuncture Society (BMAS), The Buteyko Breathing Educators Association (BBEA),  The Association for NLP (ANLP) and The British Society of Myofunctional Therapy  (BSMFT).
